Our story

The story of Cameron Bosque Brookes is one of friendship and a desire to enhance the lives of others through architecture. It is the coming together of two families, Cameron Bosque and Brookes.

Grant Cameron and Oliver Brookes both did their undergraduate architecture degrees (Part I) at Lincoln University.  Afterwards, Grant went to Newcastle and Barcelona and Oliver went to Sheffield. There they studied for their architecture master’s degree (Part II), meeting up again at Lincoln University to do their final architecture project management diploma (Part III). They both qualified as architects on the same day.

Oliver started working in Cambridge, getting involved in high-profile projects for many of the Cambridge colleges, and Grant worked on high-profile, award-winning projects in central London. Grant then went on to achieve a Masters in Urban Design from Madrid.

On his return, Grant asked Oliver if he wanted to set up a practice together, but it wasn’t quite the right time. Oliver did still assist with the setting up of Cameron Bosque Architects in 2018 though, supporting Grant and his business partner (and now wife), Silvia Bosque.

In 2022 Oliver did join the firm as equity director, and from that point the organisation became known as Cameron Bosque Brookes Architects, or CBBA for short.

What drives us?

Cameron Bosque Brookes do not have a signature style or ‘look’ – the personalities of the clients and the contexts of each project lead our team to create buildings that are totally unique.

We will listen first, consider carefully, then take you with us on a design and build journey that ends only when you have the building that’s right for you.
