Our knowledge has come through many years of working on historic buildings all across the UK. Our directors prior to working for CBBA have been involved in many prestigious heritage projects in central London and Cambridge.

We are working closely with the district council’s historic and conservation team on the renovations to this grade II* listed Manor house, built late C15, probably by the Ingoldsthorpe family.

The Old Rectory is a grade II listed property located in the village of Freckenham. The property dates back to the 16th century but was extended and altered considerably in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.

The biggest issue with 2d plans and 3d images is that our clients struggle to understand the designs concept and when you are paying thousands of pounds on a building project this is not good enough. We use virtual reality as part of the design process to show you options and allow you to walk around the proposals as if you would in real life. You get a sense of how the completed building will feel and the sense of space.

We offer full architectural services (RIBA Stages 0-7) including concept design, planning applications, building regulations and project management if required

We work on all types of listed or historic buildings. We have experience with grade I, II and II* listed buildings as well as non designated heritage assets. We have worked on barns, chapels, churches, manor houses and all different types of houses. We have dealt with every kind of building technique and construction.

Fees vary depending on the size and complexity of the project. We provide a clear, tailored quote after an initial consultation.

Absolutely. We prepare and submit planning and or listed building consent applications on your behalf and liaise with the local planning authorities to streamline the process. We provide detailed drawings and supporting documentation like heritage statements which are required for the application.

We have extensive experience with listed and historic buildings and understand how to best repair, extend or convert these buildings. We have good relationships with council conservation officers and understand the process to ensure your plans are approved.
