Virtual Reality Vault

The biggest issue with 2d plans and 3d images is that our clients struggle to understand the designs concept and when you are paying thousands of pounds on a building project this is not good enough. We use virtual reality as part of the design process to show you options and allow you to walk around the proposals as if you would in real life. You get a sense of how the completed building will feel and the sense of space.

Surviving examples often feature timber-framed construction, visible on some of the older, converted coaching houses along the main roads. In Georgian times Buntingford flourished as a stagecoach hub in the 18th century, leading to the construction of many Georgian-era buildings. These are characterized by their symmetrical design, multi-pane sash windows, and red brickwork.

During the Victorian period as with many English towns, the Victorian era brought new construction, with styles ranging from modest terraced houses to more elaborate public buildings. Victorian architecture often features decorative brickwork, bay windows, and slate roofs. Several of Buntingford’s prominent structures are historically significant. For instance, the historic George Inn was mentioned in Samuel Pepys’ diary during the 17th century. On the High Street is the heart of Buntingford and the best place to see the town’s historic character. Many of the old coaching houses and historic buildings now operate as shops and residential properties.

The Church of St. Peter, located on the High Street, showcases some of the town’s older religious architecture. In the surrounding countryside of Buntingford barn conversions are another notable architectural element, preserving rural structures by adapting them for modern living while often maintaining original features. Nearby villages within the East Hertfordshire district contain many examples of traditional brick and flint buildings and historic rural architecture.
