Contemporary Barn

Set in a Conservation Area with agricultural history, this 5-bed family home is one of a kind.

Its design responds acutely to its location, with many sustainable features and a modern agricultural style which reflects the site’s historic use.

The property features a vaulted ceiling throughout, creating a sense of space not dissimilar to a traditional barn. The agricultural influence carries through to the externals which are finished in a mix of cedar cladding, steel sheeting and long format Roman bricks.

Awards won for Contemporary Barn:

  • 2024 Built It Shortlist for Best Architect for a Self Build.
